Job summary

Sigma Aerospace Workforce seeks an experienced Mechanical Fitter / Engine Technician to support gas turbine engines and aircraft components at Adelaide Airport. PT6A, TPE331, F404/F414, F135, AGT1500 experience welcomed.

Role entails engine strip, build, repair, overhaul and documentation in an aviation maintenance environment, with a safety-first, hands-on approach and strong teamwork with Defence and aviation projects.

Qualifications

• Mechanical fitting and engine technician experience on gas turbine platforms.
• Experience with MRO and engineering work in Defence/aviation contexts.
• Ability to read and follow approved maintenance procedures and document work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out fitting, inspection and maintenance on gas turbine engines and aircraft components.
• Support engine strip, build, repair, overhaul and component maintenance tasks.
• Work on engine systems and assemblies per approved procedures and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and support project teams.
