WSG Eftech International seeks an experienced Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to join our project teams at the Otway Gas Plant near Port Campbell, Victoria. You will support commissioning, pre-commissioning, and maintenance of gas plant systems in hazardous environments.

Qualifikationen

• Trade qualified electrician and instrumentation technician.
• EEHA certification and experience in hazardous areas.
• Experience on gas plants or similar industrial facilities.
• Strong knowledge of electrical control systems and instrumentation.
• Proven problem solving and diagnostics in commissioning.

Aufgaben

• Perform electrical and instrumentation commissioning, pre-commissioning, and maintenance tasks on gas plant systems and equipment.
• EEHA certified: ensure compliance with EEHA standards when working in hazardous environments, including inspections and testing.
• System integration: collaborate with engineering teams to integrate electrical and instrumentation systems.
• Troubleshooting & Fault Finding: diagnose and resolve faults during commissioning to minimize downtime.
• Documentation & Reporting: maintain detailed records of commissioning activities, test results, and configurations for compliance and handover.
• Safety & Compliance: adhere to safety protocols and industry standards.
• Preventative Maintenance: conduct pre-commissioning checks and corrective actions.
• Site Support: provide on-site support with contractors and vendors.
