Job summary

Cotton On is seeking a detail-driven Garment Technician to join our Factorie team in Victoria. You will help bring product to life through best-in-class fit, construction and quality, partnering with Design, Buying and suppliers to deliver consistent styles that meet our brand standards.

You will lead fit sessions, own fit comments and technical docs, build block libraries and work with offshore suppliers to ensure accurate execution and continuous improvement across development.

Qualifications

• Proven Garment Technician experience or equivalent technical role.
• Strong knowledge of garment construction, fit principles and measurement.
• Deep understanding of fabrics, fibres and material performance.
• Experience coordinating with offshore suppliers for quality outcomes.
• High attention to detail and accuracy across development stages.
• Strong problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent collaboration with Design, Buying, Production and Quality.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Adobe/CAD skills are highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead fit sessions with expert direction on fit, construction and balance.
• Own fit comments, specifications and technical documentation across development.
• Build and maintain block libraries to ensure fit consistency.
• Partner with Design to support product development and advise on fit/construction.
• Communicate technical requirements with suppliers for accurate execution.
• Support fabric and trim decisions to ensure product is fit for purpose.
• Drive continuous improvement in fit, quality and product performance.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Buying, Production and Quality.
