Job summary

St Kevin's College, a leading Catholic boys' school, is seeking a qualified Gardener to join the Grounds team at the Heyington Campus. The role covers oval, garden and grounds maintenance across campuses, with cricket wicket preparation and event setup responsibilities.

The position is full-time, commencing late November, with hours 6:45am to 3:15pm and one rostered day off per month. A Certificate 3 in Horticulture and a valid driver’s license are essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and present college ovals, gardens and grounds.

• Based at Heyington Campus, hours 6:45am-3:15pm with 1 RDO per month.

Role Description/Criteria

The Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Gardener to assist the team on a full time ongoing basis. With previous experience in a similar role, you will work collaboratively within the Grounds team, to support the preparation, maintenance and presentation of the College ovals, gardens and grounds across all campuses. Based at the Heyington Campus the role will also assist with the setup of sports ovals and cricket wicket preparation. A certificate 3 in Horticulture and valid driver's licence is essential. This is a full-time ongoing position, commencing late November with hours 6:45am -3:15pm and 1 RDO per month.

About You

You have horticulture experience in Gardens and can confidently utilise equipment such as blowers, hedge trimmers and ride on vehicles.
