Job summary

Lancemore Cleveland Estate in Lancefield, Victoria, is seeking a skilled Gardener to maintain and present our gardens, wedding sites and outdoor spaces at the country estate.

This hands-on role focuses on grounds maintenance (excluding viticulture) with attention to detail and a collaborative, can-do approach to support a premier boutique hotel experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role with large-scale garden operations.
• Acute eye for detail and solution development to maintain high standards.
• Working knowledge of various grounds equipment.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, take initiative and collaborate.
• Positive mindset and can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional presentation of gardens, wedding sites and outdoor spaces across the Hotel
• Grounds maintenance exclusive of vines and viticulture
• Hands on role with a solid understanding of managing a large garden property.
• Knowledge of modern techniques in lawn mowing and edging, pruning trees and shrubs, clipping of topiary, fertilizing, planting, turfing, pest and disease control
• Make recommendations on the Hotel grounds and assist with the long-term planning and development of the complex.

Cleveland Estate, situated in the historic country township of Lancefield has a brilliant opportunity available for a talented professional, Gardener to join us at our stunning, iconic property.

About The Role

• Deliver exceptional presentation of the gardens, wedding sites and outdoor spaces across the Hotel
