Job summary

Qualifications

• Qualified and experienced Landscape Gardener with knowledge of machine and handheld tool operation.
• Good knowledge of plant identification and maintenance.
• Familiar with safe handling and use of chemicals, herbicides and pesticides.
• Experience working with irrigation systems and basic machinery/tool maintenance.
• Valid Victorian Drivers Licence and Working with Children Check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Trinity Grammar School grounds and gardens to a high standard.
• Operate and maintain landscape machinery and handheld tools.
• Apply soil management, irrigation, pruning, weeding and chemical management.
• Support a team-based Grounds staff to achieve consistency.

The Role

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Landscape Gardener to join our team. Our grounds and gardens are maintained to an exceptionally high standard, and our Grounds staff adopt a team-based approach in supporting each other to achieve and maintain this standard.

The successful applicant will have a good general knowledge of machine and handheld tool operation and maintenance, plant and tree identification and maintenance, soil management and irrigation, pruning, weeding and chemicals management.
