Job summary

Programmed Maintenance Services is seeking Gardeners to join our Epping team, offering permanent, full-time roles on a major LGA grounds contract. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding.
• Undertake horticultural activities including pruning and hedging of trees and shrubs.
• Implement mulching and planting programs.
• Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment.
• Report assets using technology at maintenance visits.
• Maintain sites to a high standard.
• Comply with OH&S processes and procedures.
• Operate a range of mowers and small equipment.

Due to continued growth for our major LGA grounds contract, Programmed are looking for Gardeners to join our Epping team.

This exciting opportunity offers a range of roles to suit different experience levels, from unqualified labourers looking to start a career in the industry, to experienced gardeners ready for a new challenge, and team leaders who are passionate about mentoring others and delivering high-quality service.

These are permanent, full-time positions offering long-term stability, career progression, and the chance to work in some of the State’s most diverse and scenic outdoor spaces.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform weed and pest control through spraying and manual weeding.
• Undertake all horticultural activities, including formative pruning and hedging of trees and shrubs.
• Implement mulching and planting programs.
• Use commercial small plant horticultural equipment.
• Report all assets using technology at each scheduled maintenance visit.
• Ensure sites are maintained and presented to a high standard.
• Comply with all occupational health and safety processes and procedures.
• Operate a range of commercial out-front and zero-turn mowers and other small plant equipment.

About You
