Job summary

ALH Hotels is seeking a Gaming Manager for the Enfield Hotel to run the gaming room and maintain the friendly local vibe. Base salary is AUD 79,600 plus super, a bonus scheme, and group-wide discounts, with a modern gaming lounge featuring 40 machines.

You will know regulars by name, work with the Publican to keep the room compliant and smooth, share your gaming know-how with the team, and bring great service and positive energy to every shift.

Qualifications

• Experience in fast-paced hospitality gaming environments.
• Ability to lead and train gaming staff.
• Strong knowledge of gaming compliance and safety rules.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication.

A Day In The Life Of a Gaming Manager

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules

Inherent Requirements

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About You

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA, RSG and RP as per state requirements
