Job summary

Hendon Hotel in Royal Park near Port Adelaide is seeking a hands-on Gaming Manager to lead the gaming room, ensure compliance and deliver the friendly, local vibe our patrons love.

You'll work with the Publican to run the room safely, motivate your team, and bring great service, accurate handling of stock, and a positive atmosphere to every shift, while meeting regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Current RSA, RSG and RP badges as per state requirements.
• Experience in gaming room, attendant, supervisor or manager roles.
• Strong understanding of compliance and safe gaming practices.

We’re on the lookout for a Gaming Manager to help run our gaming room and keep it the friendly, welcoming spot our locals love.

Located in Royal Park near Port Adelaide, The Hendon Hotel is a classic, welcoming local pub and accommodation destination. The venue features a relaxed Sports Bar built for sports fans and casual catch-ups, alongside 10 recently renovated studio rooms for short- and long-term guests. It's a go-to neighborhood hub known for friendly, reliable service.

A day in the life of a Gaming Manager:

• Know the regulars by name and make them feel right at home
• Work closely with the Publican to keep the room running smoothly, safely, and within all the rules
• Share your gaming know-how and help your team be the best in the biz
• Bring the good vibes, great service, and friendly smiles every shift

Inherent requirements:

• This is a hands-on role that involves manual handling and lifting as part of regular duties (e.g. moving stock, kegs, and deliveries). Applicants must have the ability to perform physical tasks safely and efficiently.

About you:

• You’ve been in the gaming room world for a while, as an attendant, supervisor, or manager
• You’ve learned from great managers and are ready to step up
• You’ve got the confidence, pride, and people skills to be the face of the gaming room
• You understand compliance and safe gaming inside out
• You’ve got a current RSA, RSG and RP Badgeas per state requirements
