Pegasus Leisure Group is seeking a Gaming Attendant for its Highways venue in Springvale, Melbourne, on a casual basis. The role focuses on delivering top-tier customer service, maintaining a welcoming gaming area, and upholding responsible gaming standards.

Ideal candidates will bring hospitality experience, strong communication, and current RSA/RSG certifications, along with a valid gaming licence. Rotating roster includes nights, weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or gaming environments is preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced venue.
• RSA and RSG certifications, current gaming licence, and food safety knowledge or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, professional approach.
• Create a welcoming, safe gaming environment for guests.
• Handle cash and operate tills accurately and efficiently.
• Support venue promotions and loyalty program enquiries.
• Respond to customer concerns professionally and escalate where required.
• Maintain cleanliness, presentation and ambience of the gaming area.
• Support responsible gambling practices and provide information when required.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Gaming Attendant to join the team at Highways in Springvale on a Casualbasis.

If you enjoy working in a fast-paced hospitality environment, providing outstanding customer experiences, and being part of a supportive team, this could be the perfect role for you. As a Gaming Attendant, you’ll help create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests while delivering exceptional service and maintaining presentation, compliance and responsible gaming standards at all times.

Highways is located in the hub of suburban south-east Melbourne on the perimeter of Sportsbet Sandown Racecourse.

Featuring a family friendly bistro with a designated kids play area, great service and a relaxed atmosphere making it the perfect dining experiences for all to enjoy. Along with an extensive modern menu with daily specials, Highways caters to both children and adults alike.

About Us

Pegasus Leisure Group (PLG) is the hospitality arm of the Melbourne Racing Club, managing a growing network of 17 pubs, clubs and hospitality venues across Victoria. Our venues include bistros, sports bars, function spaces and gaming areas, each focused on delivering great hospitality experiences within their local communities.

• Delivering outstanding customer service with a friendly and professional approach

• Current Gaming Licence
• Do Food Safely certification, or willingness to obtain
