Job summary

Light & Wonder, Inc. is seeking a Game Producer for Slot Games in Australia. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams across design, art, math, engineering, and compliance, ensuring decisions are documented and milestones met.

The role blends creative direction with project management and administrative ownership. You will manage schedules, track progress, and drive timely decisions while maintaining clear production documentation and status updates for leadership.

Qualifications

  • Experience in game production or project management for iGaming or land-based slots.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple titles in parallel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and documentation skills.
  • Experience coordinating regulatory submissions is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day administrative management of slot game projects: schedules, status tracking across multiple titles running in parallel.
  • Facilitate decision‑making across teams (game design, art, math, engineering, QA, compliance/legal) — driving discussions to clear, documented outcomes.
  • Maintain single sources of truth for project status, scope, and open decisions, so stakeholders always know where a project stands and what’s still being decided.
  • Run regular project check‑ins, stand‑ups, and milestone reviews; capture decisions, owners, and deadlines, and follow up to ensure they’re actioned.
  • Identify misalignment between teams early (e.g., design vs. math, art vs. engineering constraints) and drive resolution before it becomes a production bottleneck.
  • Coordinate the certification and regulatory submission process alongside compliance teams, ensuring we reach the finish line with everything we need.
  • Prepare and maintain production documentation: game design docs, change logs, meeting notes, decision logs, and status reports for leadership.

Job description

Position Summary Game Producer — Slot Games

Gaming: Welcome to the world of land-based gaming. At Light & Wonder, it’s all about the games, and our Gaming team builds cutting-edge technology, products, and content for the most iconic casinos and operators across the globe.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Game Producer to join our game development team. This role sits at the center of our production process, keeping projects organized, decisions aligned, and cross-functional teams moving in the same direction. You’ll be the connective tissue between design, art, math, engineering, compliance, and other stakeholders — making sure the right people are making the right calls at the right time, and that the administrative backbone of each project runs smoothly. This job is a mixture of creative-direction and project coordination, decision alignment, and administrative ownership.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the day-to-day administrative management of slot game projects: schedules, status tracking across multiple titles running in parallel.
  • Facilitate decision‑making across teams (game design, art, math, engineering, QA, compliance/legal) — driving discussions to clear, documented outcomes rather than leaving decisions open‑ended.
  • Manage project timelines and dependencies, flagging risks to release dates and proposing mitigation plans.
  • Coordinate the certification and regulatory submission process alongside compliance teams, ensuring we reach the finish line with everything we need.
  • Prepare and maintain production documentation: game design docs, change logs, meeting notes, decision logs, and status reports for leadership.
  • Act as the point of contact between the studio and any internal or external partners involved in a project.
  • Support post‑project reviews, gathering data and feedback to inform process improvements on future titles.
What We’re Looking For
  • Experience in game production, project management, or program coordination — Land‑based or iGaming experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with a track record of managing multiple concurrent projects and competing priorities.
  • Comfortable being the person who drives a room to a decision.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to translate technical or creative discussions into clear documentation.
  • Proficiency with project management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, et cetera).
  • A natural facilitator — proactive, detail‑oriented, and able to keep momentum on projects without needing constant escalation.
  • Nice to Have: Experience coordinating regulatory or certification submissions across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Background in agile or hybrid production methodologies.
