The position offers a meaningful, client-centred service with opportunities to develop prevention programs and community awareness. We seek a Diploma-qualified counsellor with experience in addiction and trauma, strong case management, and the ability to deliver

Qualifications

• Hold a minimum of a Diploma in Counselling or equivalent.
• Demonstrated experience working in a counselling environment.
• Experience and knowledge in working therapeutically with addiction, specifically gambling.
• Experience developing and delivering education and awareness programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic gambling counselling to individuals, families and significant others.
• Promote public awareness about problem gambling through information to target groups and the community.
