Job summary

Endeavour Energy is seeking an Engineer – Future Energy Planning to help shape the NSW electricity network. You will join a team tackling distribution and sub-transmission planning amid rising rooftop solar, EVs and storage.

You will model demand, hosting capacity and investment scenarios, translating forecasts into long‑term network plans. Collaboration with connections, design and delivery teams and engagement with market stakeholders will be key to success.

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering foundation and strong analytical capability.
• Ability to examine complex processes and recommend improvements.
• Experience with load-flow analysis or power system modelling is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan the distribution system and assess capacity for demand growth and generation connections.
• Conduct power system modelling, feasibility assessments and scenario analysis for network planning.
