Job summary

Endeavour Energy is seeking an Engineer – Future Energy Planning in NSW to shape and forecast the network needs amid growing rooftop solar, EVs and storage. You will model distribution networks, perform feasibility analyses and develop scenario-based plans to inform investment decisions.

The role requires an electrical engineering foundation, strong analytical skills and experience with power systems and emerging energy technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering, ideally electrical or related field.
• Understanding of power systems and distribution networks.
• Experience with energy tech such as renewables, storage, EVs.
• Ability to analyse complex processes and make recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Plan distribution system and assess ability to accommodate rising demand and generation connections.
• Conduct power system modelling, feasibility studies and scenario analysis for planning.
• Identify technical solutions and investment strategies balancing performance and cost.
• Support integrated forecasts covering demand, energy use, and hosting capacity.
• Translate scenarios into long-term network plans and coordinate with teams.
