Job summary

The Account Manager at Apex Group Sydney will oversee a team of investment analysts who produce valuations and unit prices for clients, ensuring timely NAV calculations and accurate reporting.

You will manage client relationships, coordinate regulatory reporting and audit preparation, and drive process improvements while upholding Apex service standards and SSAE 18 controls.

Qualifications

• 5-6 years of experience in a similar role.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Accountancy qualification is an advantage.
• Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills.
• Strong PC skills including Word, Excel and Macros in Excel.
• Knowledge or experience using HiPortfolio or Paxus preferred.
• High level analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely and accurate NAV calculations for a portfolio of funds daily, weekly or monthly.
• Provide accurate unit prices in accordance with client SLAs.
• Oversee data entry and reconcile investment transactions.
• Liaise with Auditors and maintain internal controls.
• Develop processes and controls with senior management.
• Implement SSAE 18 controls.
• Manage client relationships and attend meetings.
• Respond to client enquiries per service standards.
• Drive process improvements for efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure compliance with fund requirements.
• Supervise and train accounting staff.
