weave. Recruitment is seeking a Fund Manager for a Melbourne-based private real estate investment and development business.

The role sits in Investment Management and reports to the Head of Investment Management, with a clear path to grow the funds management function as new vehicles are added. You will own day-to-day responsibilities for the flagship fund, including portfolio construction, capital management, fund-level performance, and investor reporting, with an opportunity to shape systems

Qualifications

• Seven years'+ experience in real estate funds management, property investment or institutional capital markets
• Strong portfolio construction, asset allocation and performance measurement skills
• Experience with unlisted property funds and fund structures
• Ability to build financial models and valuations
• Experience working with institutional investors and capital partners

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day management of the flagship fund, including acquisition assessment and portfolio construction
• Prepare fund-level papers, recommendations and business cases for Investment Committee
• Oversee the valuation programme with internal teams and external valuers
• Lead investor reporting and communications across all vehicles
• Build and improve funds management systems, processes and reporting frameworks
• Collaborate with Head of Capital, Head of Asset Management and the analyst team

Education

Tertiary qualifications in finance or related field
