Job summary

Contour Education is hiring full-time VCE Maths and Science tutors for the Melbourne CBD campus. You’ll lead engaging small groups, teach from a prepared workbook, and mentor students through VCE while developing your teaching craft.

You don’t need a teaching degree; bring energy and a love of your subject. Roles are full-time, with a focus on core, mastery and extension programs and a supportive learning ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and a knack for making hard concepts click.
• Knowledge of your subject at first-year university level or above.
• A 99+ ATAR and a 45+ raw study score in your subject (highly desirable, not required)

Responsibilities

• Teach small-group classes across Core, Mastery and Extension programs.
• Teach from the Contour workbook; curriculum, homework, practice SACs and exams are provided.
• Mentor students through VCE and share effective study strategies.
• Develop the craft of explanation through the Tutor Academy.
