Job summary

Contour Education is seeking full-time VCE tutors for Maths and Science at our Glen Waverley campus. You’ll lead small groups, use our workbook, and mentor students through VCE, focusing on clear explanations and engaging learning experiences.

Bring strong communication, university-level subject knowledge, and energy to inspire. A 99+ ATAR and 45+ raw study score are highly desirable but not required. Training, a supportive team, and a multi-brand learning ecosystem await.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and a knack for making hard concepts click.
• Knowledge of the subject at first-year university level or above.
• A 99+ ATAR and a 45+ raw study score in your subject is highly desirable, not required.
• Availability for full-time role across a full academic year (0.6-0.9 FTE considered).
• Energy, empathy and a desire to help students.

Responsibilities

• Teach small-group classes across Core, Mastery and Extension programs.
• Teach from the Contour workbook; curriculum and materials are prepared for you.
• Mentor students through VCE and help build study habits.
• Develop the craft of explanation via the Tutor Academy.
