Job summary

Contour Education is seeking VCE & Year 7–10 tutors across Maths, Science and English to deliver high-quality group instruction at VIC-wide campuses. You’ll lead classes, mentor students, and help them excel in assessments while sharing a passion for learning.

Two tracks (Tutor and Assistant Tutor) with evening and weekend sessions, plus a comprehensive training pathway through Contour Tutor Academy. Competitive per-class pay and staff perks accompany opportunities for growth within the Contour

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students.
• Subject knowledge at university level or above in maths, science, or English.
• Ability to manage and motivate groups of 8–20 students.
• Reliable and organised with time management for after-school slots.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging group classes of 8–20 students.
• Coach study skills and exam strategies to build confidence.
• Mentor students and foster genuine connections to inspire learning.
• Assist lead tutors and support in class activities and review.
