Job summary

Contour Education in Melbourne is seeking energetic VCE Maths Methods and VCE Specialist Maths tutors to lead engaging small group classes (8–20 students). You’ll help students build confidence, master subjects, and excel in exams while sharing your passion for learning.

You will teach, coach, mentor, and connect with students, with a focus on 1-on-1 style support, modern resources, and a proven tutoring framework.

Qualifications

• VCE completion with 99+ ATAR and 45+ raw study scores in VCE Maths Methods or Specialist
• First-year university level knowledge or above in Mathematics
• Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts
• Energy, empathy, independence, and a proactive mindset
• A full academic year commitment with 10+ hours of weekly commitment
• Alignment with Contour’s mission, (Signed NDA and non‑compete agreement required)
• A genuine passion for helping students succeed
