Qualifications

• Automotive trade qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience repairing and maintaining diverse vehicle makes/models.
• Strong knowledge of engine/electrical/brakes/suspension/transmission.
• Proficient with diagnostic equipment and workshop tools.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
• Clear communication with customers about issues and timelines.
• Reliability, punctuality and professional conduct.
• Valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, filter replacements and fluid checks.
• Repair and replace engine components, transmissions, brakes, suspension and other parts.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify issues requiring attention.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and service schedules during repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of work, parts used and hours spent.
• Explain repair recommendations and timelines to customers.
• Maintain a clean and safe workshop per health and safety standards.
• Stay up-to-date with new vehicle technologies and repair techniques.
