Job summary

HiTech Automotive Service Centre in Mascot, NSW, is seeking a qualified Motor Vehicle Mechanic to join our professional workshop team. This full-time role involves servicing, diagnosing, repairing and maintaining a range of motor vehicles while delivering quality workmanship and excellent customer service.

You will work with modern diagnostic equipment, follow manufacturer specifications, maintain accurate records and contribute to a safe, collaborative workshop environment in Mascot.

Qualifications

• Qualified motor mechanic with a formal automotive qualification.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing a range of vehicles.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and workshop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Carry out scheduled servicing, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Perform brake, suspension, steering, cooling, exhaust and other repairs.
• Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair needs.
• Maintain accurate job records and service documentation.
• Follow manufacturer specifications and safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe workshop environment.
• Communicate professionally with colleagues, supervisors and customers.
