Job summary

Inaaya & Samir Pty Ltd T/A Curry Hut Restaurant, an established Indian restaurant in WA, seeks a full-time Cook to join its kitchen team. You will prepare dishes, manage portions, and ensure food safety in a fast-paced service environment.

Requirements include a Certificate III/IV in Commercial Cookery, at least one year of experience, and a team-oriented, proactive attitude. Availability seven days a week and adherence to OH&S standards are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate III or IV in Commercial Cookery.
• At least one year of experience in a similar role.

• Availability 7 days a week including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Cook dishes per the menu and meet any dietary requirements.
• Follow correct portion sizes and seasoning to maintain consistency.
• Maintain a hygienic, methodical, and satisfactory workflow.
• Maintain high personal hygiene and food safety standards.
• Mise-en-place for daily menus.
• Train staff in cooking procedures to maintain consistency.
• Assist management in planning and designing menus.
