Job summary

WHOS Sydney is recruiting for two full-time positions to support clients in the Gateway program who have completed residential Therapeutic Community treatment, with an emphasis on re-integration into the community through a structured program.

Requirements include a Certificate IV or higher in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health or related field, at least two years of AOD experience, knowledge of AOD/health/mental health sectors, ability to lead groups and to work within a residential

Qualifications

Certificate IV or higher in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health or related field.
Minimum two years’ experience in AOD work.
Knowledge of AOD, health, mental health and other related sectors.
Capacity to assist clients with their employment and training goals.
Ability to lead groups.
Ability to work within a residential treatment service.
Ability to assist clients to further develop harm minimisation and relapse prevention strategies.
Unrestricted driving license.

Responsibilities

Provide services to clients in the Gateway program who have completed the main residential TC treatment programs.
Support re-integration back into the community through a structured and supported program.
