Job summary

R&G Doyle's Services Pty Ltd in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Electrician (General) to contribute to daily operations and deliver quality electrical services.

You will install, maintain, and repair wiring and systems, read blueprints, test installations, ensure safety and compliance, and keep accurate service records for all jobs. The position is full-time with standard hours and competitive remuneration plus superannuation.

Qualifications

• Certificate of proficiency in power electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum one year's highly relevant work experience in a service industry.

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with industry standards
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on electrical circuits, switchboards, motors, and control systems
• Testing electrical installations and equipment to ensure safety, compliance, and proper functioning
• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to determine job requirements
• Installing and maintaining lighting, power distribution systems, and associated electrical components
• Conducting routine inspections and preventative maintenance of electrical systems and equipment
• Ensuring all electrical work complies with relevant safety regulations, codes, and company procedures
• Maintaining accurate records of work completed, materials used, and reporting any identified issues

We are seeking an experienced Electrician (General). You will be a highly motivated individual capable of contributing to and adding value to our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, systems, and equipment in accordance with industry standards
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs on electrical circuits, switchboards, motors, and control systems
