RecruitShop in Townsville invites an experienced Electrician to deliver power, lighting and air conditioning control work across residential, commercial and industrial projects. You will develop and lead a small team, working closely with an apprentice and coordinating with other trades and the office.

Ideal candidates have industrial, commercial and residential power/controls experience, a Cert III Electrical Trade Certificate and current electrical licence, plus a valid driver’s licence and

Qualifications

Experience in power and controls for air conditioning across industrial, commercial and residential projects.
Cert III Electrical Trade Certificate and current electrical licence.
Current driver’s licence, CPR/LVR, and Construction White Card.
Ability to complete test results; knowledge of simPRO is an advantage.
Ambition to lead a team and hit the ground running.

Responsibilities

Working with an apprentice to develop and lead a small team.
Co-ordinating with our client’s other trades and office team.
Carrying out new air conditioning system installations and some breakdowns.
Installing and upgrading power, lighting circuits, mains, and controls.
Occasional travel to remote sites on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster.

About The Opportunity

The primary purpose of this position is to deliver power, lighting, and air conditioning control work across residential, commercial, and industrial projects, while developing and leading a small team.

About You

Some industrial, commercial, and residential experience in power and controls for air conditioning

The ability to complete test results, with knowledge of simPRO an advantage
Ambition to lead a team and the drive to hit the ground running and complete tasks
