Job summary

Tora at Bowral Restaurant, a Japanese dining spot in Bowral, is seeking an experienced Cook to join the kitchen team on a full-time basis. You will prepare and cook meals, manage ingredients, and ensure food safety during busy service periods.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with established recipes and menu requirements.
• Preparing ingredients, sauces, stocks, broths, meats and vegetables for daily service.
• Cooking and assembling ramen, noodle dishes, rice dishes and other menu items.
• Operating commercial kitchen equipment including stoves, grills and fryers.
• Checking the quality and freshness of ingredients before preparation and cooking.
• Portioning and presenting meals to the restaurant’s required standards.
• Monitoring food storage, stock rotation and ingredient requirements.
• Maintaining food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Assisting with food preparation for lunch and dinner services.
• Working effectively with other kitchen and front-of-house staff during busy service periods.

Highlands. We are seeking an experienced and reliable Cook to join our kitchen team

on a full-time basis.

Key duties and responsibilities include:

• Preparing and cooking meals in accordance with established recipes and menu requirements.
• Preparing ingredients, sauces, stocks, broths, meats and vegetables for daily service.
• Cooking and assembling ramen, noodle dishes, rice dishes and other menu items.
• Operating commercial kitchen equipment including stoves, grills and fryers.
