Job summary

Belgrave Cartel is seeking an outstanding cook to join a fast-paced, friendly team led by a dedicated Head Chef. You will work in a busy commercial kitchen across a variety of cuisines, delivering high-quality, modern food in a lively environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years of professional kitchen experience, strong hygiene practices, clear communication, and pride in presentation. Expect a 38-hour week with a rotating Mon-Sun roster.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in a professional kitchen.
• Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation.
• Must have qualifications or trade experience equivalent.
• Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written).
• Food Hygiene knowledge and practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage your own kitchen sections and deliver consistently high-quality food.
• Take pride in food presentation and ensure top quality.
• Communicate clearly with team and front-of-house during service.
• Adapt to a busy, rotating roster across Mon to Sun, approx. 38 hrs per week.

Belgrave Cartel is looking for an additional cook who will be working within an energetic, friendly environment, with a dedicated Head Chef and team who are fun and treat each other like a big family. We are looking for an outstanding person who has some experience working in a busy commercial kitchen across a variety of cuisines and styles, delivering good quality and modern innovative food.

You;

• Flexible and willing attitude, clear communication and customer service skills


• Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation


• Ability to manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service


• Take pride in food presentation, always ensuring top quality


• Good communication skills (verbal and written)


• Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices


• Availability for rotating roster across Mon to Sun.
