The Wests Group is seeking a fulltime Chef to join its busy food service team at Wests New Lambton. The role involves preparing high quality meals, completing prep sheets, and assisting across sections while maintaining hygiene standards.

You will work in a fast-paced kitchen with split shifts including breakfast, lunch and dinner. Trade qualifications in Commercial Cookery are highly desirable, and availability for nights and weekends is required.

• Experience in fast paced kitchen.
• Strong cooking skills.
• Trade qualification in commercial cookery.

Responsibilities

• Ensure prep sheets are completed.
• Preparation of high quality food during service.
• Assist other sections when required.
• Cleaning of work areas.
• Assist with the set-up and close down of service.
• Ensure food is stored to hygiene standards.
• Ensure appropriate disposal of waste.
