Job summary

Wests Group Macarthur in Sydney is recruiting for casual Cooks to join our busy kitchens. You will work with an experienced team and may take on Kitchen Hand duties as required, delivering high quality meals and great service.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to prepare and present meals to a high standard.
• Strong time management and work ethic in a fast-paced kitchen.

• Relevant experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Commitment to food safety, hygiene, WHS and procedures.
• Flexible availability including nights and weekends.
• Full driver’s license and access to own transport.

• Prepare and cook high-quality meals in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Assist with Kitchen Hand duties as required.
• Maintain hygiene and food safety standards in all duties.
• Support the kitchen team during peak times and cover shifts as needed.

We are now recruiting for Cooks to join our team on a casual basis. You will be joining an experienced Kitchen Team who are passionate about every plate that gets served. This role will also include Kitchen Hand duties as required.

To Be Successful In This Role, You Must Have

• The appetite and passion to produce high quality meals.
• Good time management skills, a strong work ethic, positive attitude and a strong sense of initiative.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Immaculate standards of personal presentation, hygiene and grooming.
• Relevant experience in a commercial kitchen.
• Strong adherence to food and hygiene standards, operating procedures, WHS and regulatory guidelines.
• Flexible availability including nights and weekends.
• Full drivers licence and use of own car.

Pre employment background checking will be conducted including pre-employment medical and National Police Clearance.
