Compass Group Pty Limited is seeking energetic Cook and/or Chef professionals to join Defence kitchens at Blamey Barracks, Kapooka, and RAAF Base Wagga, Forest Hill. These full-time roles offer stable employment in structured kitchen environments with training and career progression.

Ideal candidates hold relevant cookery qualifications or commercial kitchen experience, demonstrate food safety discipline, and enjoy working in a fast-paced team to deliver quality meals for Defence personnel.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in commercial kitchens, catering or bulk food production.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety and allergen management.

Responsabilités

• Prepare high-quality meals in a bulk cooking environment.
• Maintain food safety, hygiene and HACCP standards.
• Support stock control, deliveries and kitchen operations.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and portion control.
• Work collaboratively as part of a professional kitchen team.
