Job summary

Veneto Club in Bulleen, Victoria, is seeking a full-time Chef to join our team and focus on Italian cuisine within a dynamic kitchen environment.

You will work closely with the Head Chef and Bistro Manager on menu development, ordering, and training of staff while ensuring food safety standards are met. A qualifying Diploma with post-qualification experience or 3 years in the role is required.

Qualifications

• Requires a Diploma in Culinary Arts with at least 1 year post-qualification experience.
• Alternatively, at least 3 years of experience in the relevant position.

Responsibilities

• Cooking contemporary style dishes in accordance with the menu.
• Planning and development of menu in collaboration with Head Chef and Bistro Manager.
• Ordering food and kitchen supplies.
• Discussing food preparation methods with kitchen staff, wait staff and managers.
• Demonstration and training of cooking techniques to employees.
• Preservation of food.
• Compliance with occupational health and safety regulations
