Guzman y Gomez Mexican Kitchen is seeking a cook to join our team in Melbourne. You will work with fresh ingredients and follow our authentic recipe guide to deliver vibrant Mexican dishes for both new and loyal guests.

Flexible availability includes full-time or casual shifts, with early starts from 5am and potential finishes around 1:30am. The role values diverse experience in fast-paced kitchens, strong food safety awareness, and excellent communication.

Job Description

As a Cook at GYG, you will be at the heart of our mission to serve up the best Mexican food experience. Following the GYG recipe guide, your role will see you working with fresh ingredients and vibrant Mexican flavours, delivering quality creations for our new and loyal guests.

We are looking for cooks on either a full time or casual basis with flexible availability. Shifts can be anywhere from 5am onwards, and may finish at 1:30am.

We appreciate diverse experience, but specifically, we are looking for candidates who have:

• Experience in a kitchen / cooking role within a busy hospitality environment
• Good understanding of food safety concerns
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
