Job summary

Café Dolcetto, operated by VIP Catering Pty Ltd, is seeking qualified Chefs for a full-time role in Yass, NSW. The successful candidate will cook and present high-quality dishes across breakfast, lunch and dinner, contribute to menu planning, and manage stock, costing and food safety in a busy café setting.

Experience in modern Australian, Western, Indian, Italian and Sri Lankan cuisines is preferred. Strong teamwork and ability to work under time pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Commercial Cookery (or similar qualification).
• Hands-on experience in breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Experience in café settings and ability to deliver high quality meals quickly.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes for breakfast, lunch and dinner service.
• Hands-on preparation across multiple cuisines and menu items.
• Assist with ordering, stock control and inventory management.
• Plan seasonal menus and manage food costing to maintain profitability.
• Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in line with Australian regulations.
• Coordinate with kitchen and front-of-house teams for smooth service.
