Starbucks Australia is hiring an Assistant Store Manager in North Lakes. In this full-time role you’ll work with the Store Manager to lead store operations, coach a high-performing team, and deliver the Starbucks Experience that customers expect.

You’ll gain hands-on leadership development, participate in training and mentoring, and have opportunities to progress toward a Store Manager role. The role offers guaranteed hours, paid leave, and a competitive mix of benefits and incentives.

Qualifications

• Two years' progressively responsible experience, including at least one year in a customer-facing role.
• Strong organisational, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in store leadership roles, ideally within hospitality or quick-service.
• Experience supporting store operations and contributing to financial performance.
• Exposure to rostering, budgets, and profit & loss (P&L) reports.
• Proven ability to develop teams and foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging work environment.

The Opportunity

As an Assistant Store Manager at Starbucks, you’ll play a key leadership role in bringing the Starbucks Experience to life. Working closely with the Store Manager, you’ll help lead store operations, develop a high‑performing team, and create a welcoming third place for customers and communities.

This is a hands‑on leadership opportunity where you’ll grow your business acumen, coaching capability, and operational expertise while being supported to take the next step in your leadership career.
