Job summary

Angus & Coote Gladstone is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing sales team and deliver an exceptional customer experience at a premium jewellery retailer. You will collaborate with the Store Manager to drive sales, develop staff, and uphold visual and operational standards on the showroom floor.

You’ll coach and motivate Team Members, manage rostering and inventory, and step up to lead the store when required.

As Assistant Store Manager of Angus & Coote Gladstone, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales performance and maintain the high standards expected of a premium jewellery retailer.

You’ll also have the opportunity to step up and lead the store when required, building the experience and confidence to progress your retail leadership career.

You’ll have the opportunity to:

• Support the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, providing trusted advice and building meaningful customer relationships.
• Develop your knowledge across diamonds, fine jewellery and watches and use that expertise to maximise every sales opportunity.
• Coach and motivate Team Members to achieve individual and store sales goals.
• Take ownership of store performance and operations when the Store Manager is away.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of Team Members.
• Assist with inventory, administration, rostering, visual standards and loss prevention while maintaining consistently high operational standards.

• Have previous retail leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Manager, 2IC, 3IC or senior sales professional ready for the next step.
