Job summary

Angus & Coote Emerald is seeking an ambitious Assistant Store Manager to lead a high-performing jewellery team, drive sales and uphold our premium customer experience. You’ll work closely with the Store Manager to coach staff, deepen product knowledge across diamonds, fine jewellery and watches, and step in as acting store leader when required.

As Assistant Store Manager of Angus & Coote Emerald, you’ll work closely with the Store Manager to lead the team, drive sales performance and maintain the high standards expected of a premium jewellery retailer.

You’ll Have The Opportunity To

• Support the Store Manager to lead, coach and develop a high-performing sales team.
• Lead by example on the sales floor, providing trusted advice and building meaningful customer relationships.
• Develop your knowledge across diamonds, fine jewellery and watches and use that expertise to maximise every sales opportunity.
• Coach and motivate Team Members to achieve individual and store sales goals.
• Take ownership of store performance and operations when the Store Manager is away.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and development of Team Members.
• Assist with inventory, administration, rostering, visual standards and loss prevention while maintaining consistently high operational standards.

• Have previous retail leadership experience, ideally as an Assistant Manager, 2IC, 3IC or senior sales professional ready for the next step.
