Job summary

Montessori Academy Childcare Centres in Sydney is seeking experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our team and deliver high-quality care and education to children under six.

You will develop the Children's Program aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework, maintain child progress records, liaise with families, ensure a safe environment, and contribute to ongoing training and professional development.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in the same role.
• Cert III or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (or ACECQA equivalent).
• Current Working with Children Check.
• First Aid & CPR Certificate.
• Child Protection Certificate (CHCPRT025).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop strong relationships with children at the service.
• Develop the Children's Program reflecting Early Years Learning Framework guidelines.
• Ensure a safe environment is maintained for staff and children.
• Implement the service’s philosophy in undertaking all other duties.
• Liaise with families regarding day-to-day happenings.
• Maintain observations and records of individual children's progress.
