Job summary

Canstar is seeking a proactive Full Stack Developer to design and implement high‑performing online experiences for millions of Australians. You will work across a modern front‑end stack (Next.js/React) and robust GraphQL APIs on AWS and GCP, owning end‑to‑end engineering from customer interfaces to GenAI/agentic tooling.

You will collaborate in an Agile squad with Product Owners, Designers, and Data Engineers, contributing to secure, scalable, and observable systems with a strong focus on

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full‑stack web app development in a commercial environment.
• Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, Next.js, GraphQL, and REST APIs.
• Experience deploying services on AWS and GCP with CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with PostgreSQL and building data pipelines using BigQuery/Dataform.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain high performing front-end applications using Next.js/React and modern web architectures.
• Develop, scale, and optimize GraphQL/REST APIs deployed on cloud infrastructure.
• Design relational data models in PostgreSQL and build data pipelines in BigQuery using Dataform.
• Deliver and deploy code through modern DevOps/CI pipelines targeting AWS and GCP.
