Job summary

PremiAir is seeking a skilled Fuel Truck Driver for our Newcastle Branch. You will drive a fuel truck, refuel on site equipment, and deliver fuel to locations while recording asset details for customers in the Newcastle region.

Shifts start early (5–6am) with weekend work on a rotating roster. The role requires a valid HR licence, white card, and a strong safety record. PremiAir offers on-the-job training, competitive wages, overtime, and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum HR licence with at least 2 years driving experience.
• White Card is essential.
• DG & SLP preferred but not essential.
• Excellent driving record and safety-focused performance.
• Strong time management and the ability to work unsupervised.

Responsibilities

• Drive Fuel Truck and operate refuelling to sites and equipment.
• Perform onsite equipment refuelling and fuel delivery.
• Loading/unloading, refuelling, and asset recording of customer equipment in the Newcastle region.

About the Role

We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Fuel Truck Driver to join our busy and hardworking re-fuelling division in our Newcastle Branch.

Weekend work on a rotating roster is a requirement for the position.

The role is full time with shifts starting early at approximately 5-6am.

Shift hours and duration may vary.

Duties

• Fuel Truck Driving
• Onsite equipment refuelling as required
• Onsite Fuel Delivery
• Loading/Unloading, refuelling of equipment and asset recording of customers equipment in the Newcastle Region
• Other appropriate duties as required/directed

Skills and Experience

You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an"I will make it happen"attitude to get the job done. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum HR truck licence required, with at least 2 years professional driving experience
• White card is essential
• RIW or RSW Card is preferred but not essential
• DG & SLP is preferred but not essential
• Excellent driving record and safety focused - A copy of your current driving record will be required to be produced at your interview.
• Focused on providing the best service to our customers
• Can work independently, plus listen and follow instructions
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to work unsupervised
• Self-motivated and takes pride in their work
• Has a strong team mind-set
• Has good English reading and writing skills
• Is reliable, punctual with excellent work ethics
• Has a stable work history and checkable work references.
• Has a valid and current drivers licence
• Previous experience delivering fuel would be highly regarded
• Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicant will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
