PremiAir is seeking a hardworking Yard Person for our Huntingwood depot. You will load and unload equipment using a forklift and perform general yard duties, reporting to the Branch Manager.

The role requires a strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality and the ability to follow instructions, with overtime including weekends when needed.

We offer an attractive hourly rate plus super and on‑site training as part of PremiAir’s fast‑growing hire and service business.

Qualifications

• Forklift licence is essential.
• MR licence is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow instructions and work unsupervised.
• Self-motivated with strong work ethic.
• Reliable, punctual and focused on customer service.
• Capable of performing physical tasks and overtime hours.

About the Role

PremiAir has a permanent full-time position available for a hardworking and reliable Yard Person to join our busy team located in Huntingwood.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, the main responsibility of the roles is to load/unload equipment using forklift truck and general yard duties.

Duties

• Loading/unloading of hire equipment
• Keeping the yard clean and arranging equipment as needed

Skills and Experience

• You must possess a strong sense of urgency with an \"I will make it happen\" attitude to get the job done.
• A valid Forklift licence is essential to be considered for this role
• MR licence is preferred but not essential
• Able to follow instructions and work unsupervised and pays attention to detail
• Is self-motivated and takes pride in their work and has a great work ethic
• Is reliable and punctual and has excellent work ethics
• Is focused on providing the best service to our customers
• Is capable of performing physical activities
• Can work overtime, including weekends when needed
• Previous experience and success in a similar role will be highly regarded, however, the successful applicants will be appointed primarily based on attitude and the desire to assist the business in the next phase of growth.
