Job summary

Lowes Petroleum is seeking an experienced Heavy Rigid driver to deliver fuel from Bundaberg to regional customers. You will report to the Depot Manager and ensure safe, compliant operations while maintaining delivery records and customer service excellence.

The role offers a guaranteed minimum of hours per fortnight, uniforms and PPE, a DG-friendly environment and a strong training program from Driver Trainers as part of a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• Experience driving heavy combination vehicles, preferably fuel tankers or DG.
• Must hold current HR/HC/MC driver’s licence with a safe driving history.
• DG licence and tanker experience highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of fatigue management and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fuel tanker vehicles to deliver fuel to customer sites and service stations.
• Complete loading, unloading and fuel transfer procedures in accordance with safety requirements.
• Conduct pre-start vehicle inspections and ensure all equipment is maintained and roadworthy.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, paperwork and compliance documentation.
• Provide professional customer service while adhering to company policies, fatigue management and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
