Job summary

Healthcarelink Support in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout to join our Perioperative Team on a full-time basis. You will deliver peri-operative nursing care, liaise with the multi-disciplinary team, and supervise junior staff to ensure high standards of patient care.

The ideal candidate holds current AHPRA registration, has at least 18 months RN Scrub Scout experience, and demonstrates strong clinical decision making and communication skills in a fast-paced

Are you an experienced Registered Scrub Scout Nurse who is passionate about playing a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided?

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout to join our Perioperative Team on a full-time basis.

As a Perioperative Registered Nurse - Scrub Scout your responsibilities will include:

• Undertake peri-operative nursing care in accordance with legislation
• Deliver evidence-based nursing care
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) and AINs to deliver patient care (RN only)
• Proactively assess the operative nursing care provided to ensure the best possible outcome is achieved for the individual / patient
• Document into the patient's medical record objectively, clearly, concisely and timely using accepted abbreviations and terminology
