Job summary

Healthcarelink Support seeks a Registered Scrub Scout Nurse – Anaesthetics to join a large private hospital in Melbourne's eastern region on a full-time basis. You will support the Scrub/Scout Unit, deliver high-quality perioperative nursing care and liaise with a multidisciplinary team.

The hospital is a major Victoria facility with a 24/7 ED, 15 theatres including a hybrid theatre, and extensive cardiothoracic and surgical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Registered with AHPRA.
• Postgraduate perioperative nursing certificate or actively pursuing.
• Experience in Anaesthetics theatre.
• Working with Children check (if relevant).
• Commitment to quality patient care.
• Compliance with ACQSHC National standards.
• Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and customer service.
• Works well independently and in a team.

We are currently seeking Registered Nurses who are passionate about patient care to join and support the Anaesthetics team for the Scrub/Scout Unit on a full-time basis.

As a Registered Scrub Scout Nurse - Anaesthetics, your responsibilities will include:

• Deliver evidence-based nursing care
• Liaise with the multi-disciplinary team
• Ensure patient and staff safety
• Supervise, direct and guide nursing team members; Enrolled Nurses (ENs) to deliver patient care
• Deliver education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, etc.
