Job summary

Drakes Supermarkets is seeking a motivated leader for our Biloela store's fruit & veg department. You will manage a small team, create rosters, place orders and oversee stock takes to ensure smooth daily operations.

Reporting to the Fruit & Veg Manager, you will demonstrate strong leadership, a hands-on approach, and a commitment to customer service in a fast-paced supermarket environment. This permanent part-time role offers 10% staff discounts and career progression opportunities.

Qualifications

About this opportunity:

Our Biloela store is currently looking for a motivated and hard working leader, to join and assist leading the store's fruit & veg department.

Reporting directly to the Fruit & Veg Manager, this successful applicant will be responsible for managing a small team, creating rosters, generating orders, completing stock takes + much more!

Working as a part of an enthusiastic team, in a highly competitive supermarket environment, applicants will be expected to demonstrate:

• Fresh food retail knowledge is desired, but not essential
• Ability to lead and manage a team
• Ability to order and control costs
