Drakes Supermarkets is seeking an experienced candidate to lead the Fresh Food department, focusing on Fruit & Veg management, staff leadership, and cost control in a dynamic Queensland store. You will drive merchandising, rostering, and customer service excellence, partnering with management to tailor offerings to local customers.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on leadership, a passion for fresh produce, and a proven ability to motivate teams while maintaining safety and quality

• Significant fresh food retail knowledge.
• Experience in Fruit & Vegetable Management is essential.
• Expertise in leading and managing staff.

• An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations.

Responsabilités

• Lead the department as if it were your own business and tailor the store's service and product offering to the local area.
• Demonstrate leadership to coach and develop staff and optimise rostering and scheduling.
• Oversee ordering, stock control and cost management to protect gross margins.
• Maintain high standards of customer service and merchandising across the department.
• Collaborate with store management and other departments to meet customer needs.
