Drakes Supermarkets on the Gold Coast is seeking a dynamic department leader for the Fresh Produce area. The successful candidate will treat the department as their own business and tailor service and product offerings to meet local customer needs.

• Significant fresh food retail knowledge.
• Experience in Fruit and Vegetable Management is essential.
• Expertise in leading and managing team members.
• Ordering and cost control expertise.
• An excellent understanding of gross profit calculations.

Responsibilities

• Own and tailor the store's service and product offering to meet local customer needs.
• Lead and manage the Fruit & Vegetable department.
• Coach, train and performance manage staff.
• Ensure ordering, stock control and rostering are accurate.
• Maintain gross profit awareness and cost control.
