Government Recruitment Service in Liverpool seeks a Verification Assurance Officer to join a frontline team focused on identifying and preventing fraud in Universal Credit processes. The role requires on-site presence at Jobcentre locations and close collaboration with colleagues to interview claimants and verify documents, with travel between sites as needed.

• Strong communication skills and ability to interview claimants.
• Understanding of fraud control processes and front-line verification.
• Ability to collaborate with Jobcentre colleagues and external teams.

Responsabilités

• Conduct initial and follow-up evidence interviews with claimants and assess verification documents.
• Lead verification activities within Jobcentre and Service Centre teams on-site.
• Provide feedback on trends and fraud patterns to risk and intelligence teams.
• Educate customers on responsibilities and consequences of non-compliance.
• Maintain accurate management information (MI) as directed by analysts and performance teams.
• Travel between sites may be required.
