Job summary

Department of Housing & Public Works QLD – Healy QLD is seeking a centre operations coordinator to develop, establish and maintain staff training systems ensuring efficient operations.

You will coordinate financial, administrative and human resource functions to ensure policy compliance, manage cost centres and security audits, and oversee tenancy management while maintaining strong public relations.

Qualifications

• Must have Class C Driver's Licence.
• Experience coordinating staff training and HR/financial processes.
• Ability to coordinate centre operations and tenancy management.

Responsibilities

• Develop, establish and maintain processes and systems for staff training to ensure the efficient and effective operation of the centre.
• Coordinate the financial, administrative and human resource functions of the centre to ensure compliance with the policies and standard.
• Ensure that all staff movements are captured and reflected correctly in the HR and financial systems.
• Assist in the provision of effective cost centre management including managing the centre maintenance budget.
• Develop effective relationships with the public, customers, staff, government agencies and relevant non-government service organisations.
• Lead, establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
• Undertake regular security audits to ensure the safe and secure operation of the centre.
• Tenancy management responsibilities
• Maintain, oversee and provide administration support to all centre staff.
