Isaac Regional Council invites applications for a part-time Frontline Service Officer in Nebo. The role delivers library and customer-focused services across the Isaac Region, supporting lifelong learning programs and community wellbeing.

Reporting to the Community Hub Area Leader – East, you will help ensure a friendly, efficient customer experience. The successful candidate will display strong customer service skills, technical competency with MS Office, and the ability to work both as part of

• Demonstrated experience delivering high-level customer service and/or library services.
• Experience developing and delivering lifelong learning programs/events.
• High level experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience in using technology.
• Ability to work as a team and autonomously.
• Blue Card from the Commission for Children, Young People and Child Guardian, or ability to obtain prior to commencement.

An exciting opportunity exists for a part time Frontline Service Officer to join Isaac Regional Council's Community Services Directorate based in Nebo. Reporting to the Community Hub Area Leader – East, the position is responsible for providing effective and courteous delivery of library and customer focused functions to the Isaac Region communities.

We are looking for a person who is passionate about providing exemplary customer experience and delivering programs. Duties will include (but not limited to):

Library

• Develop, lead and deliver lifelong learning programs and activities
• Undertake library resource loans, reference queries using library management system
• Contribute to the daily operations of a library

Customer Services

• Managing incoming calls and customer service inquiries
• Identifying and fulfilling customer needs to achieve satisfaction
• Handling complaints, providing appropriate solutions and alternatives

The successful candidate will have:

• Demonstrated experience in the delivery of high-level customer service and/or library services.

For this position we offer:

• Salary $41.88 - $45.99 per hour
• Normally 32 hours per fortnight;
• 5 weeks annual leave pro rata @ 17.5% loading;
• Up to 14.5% super in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement.
